Power Chakras: Possessions, Passions & Purpose
Updated: Mar 2
I like to think of the Root, Sacral and Heart Chakras as power chakras. Here's why ...
Possessions and the Root Chakra
The Root Chakra, also known as the Muladhara, is the first of the seven chakras. It is located at the base of the spine and is associated with the feeling of safety and grounding. It allows us to grow with our feet on the ground, ensuring we are connected to the earth and the physical world around us.
In relation to possessions, the Root Chakra is tied closely to our sense of security and survival. This chakra governs our instincts and innate nature. It influences our ‘fight or flight’ response, the place from which we draw strength and courage.
When we talk about possessions in the context of the Root Chakra, we are referring to physical possessions like belongings and finances. These tangible assets and treasures play a vital role in our lives by providing us with the security we need to survive and thrive. They provide the foundation upon which we build our lives, allowing us to focus on achieving higher states of consciousness.
Passions and the Sacral Chakra
The Sacral Chakra, or Svadhisthana, is the second chakra. Located in the lower abdomen, it is the center of emotion, passion, and creativity. It governs our ability to relate to others and the world, controlling our relationships and sexuality.
It is here where our passions are born. The Sacral Chakra influences our desires, emotions, and sense of control. It is closely tied to our ability to experience joy, pleasure, and creativity. It is also the chakra responsible for healing and transformation, allowing us to turn our passions into tangible results.
When balanced, the Sacral Chakra allows us to express our emotions freely and feel the world around us. It encourages us to be open to new experiences and relationships, fostering creativity and healing in our lives.
Purpose and the Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra, or Anahata, is the fourth chakra, located at the center of the chest. It is the chakra of love, compassion, and kindness. It governs our ability to give and receive love, to be open and connected with others and the world around us.
It is in the Heart Chakra where we find our purpose. This chakra influences our ability to show kindness and benevolence, to share with others, and to receive in return. It encourages us to live our lives with purpose, to follow our hearts and find joy in our relationships and experiences.
When the Heart Chakra is balanced, we are able to live our lives with empathy and compassion, to build strong and healthy relationships, and to find purpose in our lives. We become more attuned to the world around us, more capable of handling the ups and downs of life with grace and resilience.
By tending to your power chakras you will achieve balance in your life, and avoid the temptation of excessive desire. Remember that there is enough for everyone to thrive. Strive to cultivate authentic and meaningful connections in all your relationships. Allow yourself to be vulnerable, share your emotions, build trust, and foster acceptance. Embrace and cherish the beauty and sanctity of intimate relationships. Unlock your heart to discover self-love, ignite your inner calling, and unleash your power to both give and receive genuine love from the universe.
