Angels, Masters & Relationships: Shadow and Light in Balance
Last week, I pulled a chakra energy card that read 'Angels and Masters' which is tied to the Solar (Soul) Star Chakra and radiates white and gold light. The card, created by Rachelle Charman, presented angels and masters as equal forces instead of oppositional forces. But me? I see it a little differently.
I think of Angels of the Universe as expansive dark energy—the shadow, the flow, the compassion. Masters of the Universe, on the other hand, bring that two-edged sword of determination and blind ambition. Between the two lies a whole spectrum, and the magic happens when you 'get in where you fit in' to maintain your flex, your flow, your balance, and your glow. That’s the secret to stepping fully into your fabulosity and empowerment.
Here’s the thing: I firmly believe that everything you need is already within your Soul and Spirit. You are your own guardian angel and your own master. Those two forces—shadow and light—exist within you, and between them is the spectrum. Finding your sweet spot on that spectrum? That’s the journey.
Today, I pulled another card from the same deck that said 'Relationships' which is associated with the Sacral Chakra and the colour orange. The synergy between these two cards—the idea of angels, masters, and relationships—was crystal clear. If I were to map this out, I’d put relationships at the top of a triangle, with angels on the left and masters on the right. Why? Because everything—your choices, your growth, your glow—flows through your relationship with yourself and with others. Balance isn’t about avoiding opposition. It’s about understanding that shadows are only revealed through visible light, and those shadows create depth.
Mastery demands focus, sometimes even ruthlessness. Angelic energy, on the flip side, calls for empathy, passion, and softness—but not to the point where you lose yourself. Those are the extremes. The sweet spot is knowing when to lean into one or the other while staying open to adjust as you grow. That’s your flex and flow in action.

Being a master or an angel is entirely within your control. This week, move with the understanding that you decide where you land on that spectrum in any given moment. You don’t need anyone else to define you or tell you how to move. Trust yourself. Get quiet enough to hear the whispers of your Soul and Spirit, because IT has all the answers you need.
And when you do that? Baby, you’ll be living your life in full, unapologetic fabulosity. Get in where you fit in, adjust as needed, and shine bright like a diamond. You got this.
