A psychedelic experience is characterized by perceiving aspects of the mind that were previously unknown, or by the mind being freed from its limitations and letting go. Gloria produces her own music, using techniques and frequencies that create a safe space to explore sound and its effects.
Gloria Miller is an artist who uses words, music, and images to tell powerful stories that delight the senses. Her Psychedelic Soul Cabaret show is a memoir of sorts, looking at life through a multimedia lens that is sometimes layered and expansive, sometimes simple and intimate.
You'll hear echoes of Minnie Riperton, India Arie, Sade, and Anita Baker, to name just a few artists whose music has influenced Gloria’s sound. This show gives you the opportunity to experience Gloria’s music in three dimensions—aural, visual, and mental!
In true cabaret style, you can expect lots of interaction from Gloria and her band, and you'll be gently encouraged to sing along to some of the songs. The power of the spoken word will be also explored through stories and poetry, creating an atmosphere of reflection and inspiration.
